Rhodes & Associates provided design of the security control room at the plant and integrated the Plant Security System into DWSD’s existing comprehensive security system.
New video monitoring and recording equipment was installed at the New Administration Building Security Office, the Main Site Guard House and the new Copeland Avenue Guard House to allow security officers to access video cameras strategically located throughout the WWTP and to access digitally recorded video images of security incidents that have been recorded.
New access control gates with Ingress/Egress Gate Control Pedestals that incorporates Access Control and Intercom assessment were installed at the Main Site Guard House and the new Copeland Avenue Guard House.
Personnel badges can be encoded by DWSD to allow controlled access to the WWTP Site and restricted areas within the WWTP Site.
A new Site Perimeter Fence Intrusion Detection System with video verification of alarms was designed and incorporated into the Plant Security System.
Security components from other projects including PC-740, PC-713, DWSD-745, DWP-1074 and DWP-1021 were incorporated into the new plant security system.
